Job Description

As a Line Haul Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight over long distances between distribution centers or hubs. This role requires a commitment to safety, punctuality, and effective communication to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks or other vehicles for long-distance transportation of goods.
• Follow pre-defined routes and schedules while ensuring compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle condition, performing routine checks and minor repairs as needed.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.
• Ensure proper handling and securement of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
• Complete necessary documentation, including delivery logs and inspection reports.
